My philosophy is chat to everyone no matter where you are because you never know what amazing stories you’ll hear. This is a perfect example. While having my brow treatment with Kristy I discovered she is one amazing woman. After 12 years in the Legal Industry, Kristy wanted to focus more on her love of helping and caring for people. Cut to four years later, a Nursing degree under her belt and becoming a fully qualified Eyebrow and Lash Technician she is now working for herself and couldn’t be happier. 2020 is going to be a fabulous year for Kristy, her business Élevé Esthetiques is starting off with an exciting new partnership. Pop over to Élevé Esthetiques Instagram page for all the details and your chance to WIN the eyebrows of your dreams!!! Enjoy this episode!!!

This week I chat with Jo and her husband Nathan about their unique careers, how they came to be in these amazing careers and what it is like to both work from home. Jo is a Podcast Producer (yes, that’s right, our very own amazing Jo) and her husband Nathan is a YouTube Gamer and they are both excelling in their fields. I really enjoyed this interview, not only learning more about their careers but hearing how they support and encourage each other and make the whole “living and working together” thing work. This is a really fun listen! Enjoy.
If you are wanting to start a podcast or needing a Producer touch base with Jo at joanne.e.helder@gmail.com to discuss how she can help you!

Giddy Up Ladies

Sunday Feb 09, 2020
Straight off the back of the Australian film “Ride Like A Girl” which tells the life story of Michele Payne, I was so lucky to interview another Australian female jockey, Samantha Gordon. Although Samantha is now retired, she still maintains strong connections to her Racing family and has dedicated her post racing life to giving back. Knowing firsthand the pressures and difficulties that accompany the highs of racing, Samantha has now commenced her counselling service to help other jockeys and elite sports personalities with their mental health wellbeing. Her story is compelling and inspiring, so saddle up, this is one great ride!
If you would like to touch base with Samantha she would love to hear from you! Find her on Facebook or Call her on 0410 312 004.

Engineering is traditionally an industry dominated by men, which is why I wanted to share Yvette's story. Along with hearing Yvette's story and journey to becoming a Senior Signaling Engineer, we discuss her experiences working in this industry and the interesting decision one university has taken to lower the requirements for females to embark on an Engineering Degree. So jump aboard because this train is about to depart.
